BURNABY, BC (January 24, 2012) -The finalists for the
highly anticipated Customer Choice Georgie Awards® powered by AVID™ were announced by the
Canadian Home Builders' Association of British Columbia (CHBA BC) today. 


In the housing categories for Customer Choice Georgie Awards® powered by AVID™ for Multi-Family and Single
Family Production Builder, the finalists are: Adera Development
Corporation, Concert Real Estate Corporation, Mibroc Group, Portrait Homes Ltd.
and Rohit Communities.    


In the housing category for Customer Choice Georgie Awards® powered
by AVID™ for Single Family Custom Home Builder, the finalists are:
G.D. Nielsen Developments Ltd., Marcraft Homes Ltd. and RDC Fine Homes. 

In the category Customer Choice Georgie Awards® powered by
AVID™ for Residential Renovator, the finalists are: Kerr
Construction and maison d'etre design-build inc. 

In the Grand Georgie Awards® category Large Volume Single Family Home
Builder of the Year, the finalists are: Portrait Homes Ltd. and Vesta Properties Ltd. 

In the Grand Georgie Awards® category Large Volume Multi-Family Home
Builder of the Year, the finalists are: Adera Development
Corporation, Bosa Properties Inc., Concert Real Estate Corporation, Portrait Homes Ltd. and Rohit Communities. 

In the Grand Georgie Awards® category Residential Renovator of the Year,
the finalists are: Best Builders Ltd. and maison d'etre design-build inc.

Executive Officer of CHBA BC, the provincial voice of the residential
construction industry. "It requires bold confidence in one's abilities and
a real desire for self improvement to allow your company to be judged by your
customers and then take the information and act upon it. A tribute to their
professional building and renovating."

Through AVID™ Ratings, a recognized North American program,
consumers are given the ability to rate builders and renovators on all aspects
of the home buying process, from construction and product satisfaction, to
warranty service experience to referral intentions. CHBA BC, in partnership
with AVID™ Ratings, applies the survey results in the Customer Choice Georgie
Awards® categories and as part of the total criteria for the Builder and
Renovator of the Year Categories. 

"To make a bold statement that a builder or renovator are the
best in our province, we must have a multi faceted assessment process,"
says Whitemarsh, "the validity of the analysis provided by AVID™ gives us
the confidence that CHBA BC is truly awarding the best of the best."

Winners from each category will be announced at the Georgie Awards® gala on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at the
Vancouver Convention Centre West.
